Oh, that looks so much fun! I wish I had your self-control to make step-by-steps of certain stages of doll making.

I would like that too! (big hint)

Wasn't any patience required for this. I just kept a camera by the table. As I had to wait for paint to dry or glue to set, I just took snaps in between doing things. That's not so easy with sewing.

That is so clever and fun! :glomp: I totally need to find an insect to do this to now! (Though I"ve decided my drawers aren't as much fun as yours, I don't have many bits to steampunk the squirtguns in my basement that are my kinda escape from sewing not going well.)

That's probably a good thing. My drawers (and a whole room) are bursting with crap. Every time I take something apart, I keep the interesting bits. Did you know there's a spiral pole in the center of a deodorant stick? Like, for a carousel horse, or something?

Thank you so much! I have to tell you, making these is the most therapeutic activity I know. It's the closest feeling to being back in school, gluing macaroni onto card on a rainy afternoon. Bliss. (I was an odd kid)

Let's examine just how much tar, mud, and paint you used to smear in your mouth and face in order to make your mother think you'd been crushed under a tractor tire in a horrible accident - and THEN we can talk about who was an odd child.

Having a traumatized mother a bunch of awesome memories? Sounds good to me!
